Masa Israel Teaching Fellows

Teach in Israel, and you’ll be amazed at what you’ll learn.

Masa Israel Teaching Fellows is a 10-month fellowship for college graduates between the ages of 21 and 30. Teach English to Israeli children while immersing yourself in Israeli society. Become an integral member of the city in which you live, teach and volunteer. The program costs just $1,000 and it covers your flight, housing, and amenities. A monthly cash stipend is also provided to all teaching fellows.

Develop Professional Skills

Whatever your experience as an educator, the Israeli classroom experience is unique—allowing you to develop leadership skills while making a real, vital difference in the lives of Israeli students. Learn more about becoming a Masa Israel Teaching Fellow.

Engage in Israeli Society

By living in the city where you work, you become part of the community—actively engaging with your neighbors though your volunteer projects, with host families and at local hangouts. Learn more about where we work.

Explore Israel & Its Culture

Israel is a fascinating country where ancient meets modern. As a Fellows, you'll develop a deep, complex understanding of the country through both guided tours and time to explore on your own.

About the Program

Masa Israel Teaching Fellows is a partnership of Masa Israel Journey, Israel’s Ministry of Education, and The Jewish Agency for Israel.

Created to address the achievement gap in Israel’s public education system, the program invites talented, English-speaking college graduates to Israel as English teachers’ aides. It’s a challenging, rewarding experience for our Teaching Fellows, and a vital investment in Israel’s future.
